The woman’s footprints in Granada
Women have always played an important role in human history, but their achievements have often been neglected by historians.
This tour is a tribute to the women of Granada who have left their mark on the city’s history, but who have never received the recognition they deserve. It pays tribute to the masterful achievements of all these women throughout the history of Granada.
Women who influenced politics, art and philosophy, fought for their rights and helped preserve our gastronomic legacy. Women who created a richer and more diverse Granada.
“Traces of Women” is a tribute to these women and tells you who they were, what they did, how they lived, the social and historical circumstances in which they had to manage their lives and how they evolved, survived and used their minds during the different periods of history.
It is a different way to get to know the city, a walk to the most important points of Granada by the hand of these women.
I invite you all to participate in this guided tour. And I specifically say all, because this is by no means a tour just for women, but a tour that shows that there are great women alongside great men and great men alongside great women.
